D e s c r i p t i o n. Flat and thin needle-leaves with slender petiole, bent in relation to the leaf axis.

R e m a r k s. The above characters are diagnostic for leaves of Tsuga or Pseudotsuga , but also Nothotsuga HU ex C.N.PAGE should be considered for possible affinity ( Kunzmann and Mai 2005).
