( Figs. 10–12 View FIGURE 10 View FIGURE 11 View FIGURE 12 )

Description. FEMALE (holotype). Gnathosoma . Cheliceral base and shaft 75 long. Fixed cheliceral digit reduced. Palpal femur and genu with serrated dorsal seta each, 50 and 40 long, respectively. Subcapitular setae n 90 long. Each branch of peritremes with 23–24 chambers. Free lateral part of peritremal branch 40 long. Hypostome 165 long. Idiosoma 735 long and 1080 wide (605–1065 in 1 paratype). Dorsum ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 A–C). Anterior-mid setal cluster with about 80 setae, 20 long ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 B). Lateral to this cluster, about 210–230 setae, 35–115 long, on each side present. Among them, 1 very long seta (135 long) present on each lateral margin. Finely serrated setae, about 20 pairs, located anterior to each side of pseudoanal area. Postero-lateral part of idiosoma with about 20–25 pairs of setae, only slightly serrated on tip. Peripheral series represented by 21–23 pairs of tapered setae, discernibly serrated distally ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 C). Venter ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 A–B) with 15 pairs of setae vm, 35–145 long, located anterior to genital area. All setae vm serrated, except for 1 pair of filiform setae located near to genital region. Peripheral part of body with 36 pairs of postero-lateral setae, short setae (55–95 long)—serrated, long setae (115–230 long)—smooth. Peripheral series represented by 6–13 pairs of weakly apically serrated setae. Most part of genital slit situated dorsally. Genital series represented by slightly serrated setae g1 and 5 pairs of pseudoanal setae ps, setae ps1–3 inserted dorsally, setae ps4–5 inserted ventrally. Legs. Coxal setae 3a filiform. Leg chaetotaxy: genua I–IV (5-4-3- 3), femora I–IV (5-5-3-3).

Type material. Female holotype and 1 paratype were collected from Liolaemus pictus , CHILE: Arauco Province, Isla Mocha, 38º36’32”S 73º89’87”W, 13 December 2008, coll. D. González Acuña.

Type deposition. Holotype in the ZISP (ZISP T-Pt-7), paratype in the AMU (AMU-PTE4.1).

Etymology. The name levissima refers to the Latin word “levissimus” which means plain, free from coarse hair.

Differential diagnosis. This new species is most similar to Pterygosoma ligare sp. nov. The differential diagnosis for these species is given above.
