Conservation status

Vulnerable for European ( Hochkirch et al. 2016), Mediterranean and Global assessments ( Braud et al. 2016).

Distribution

Endemic species of southern France, recently reported in Italy ( Bardiani and Buzzetti 2009). A review of the genus is underway ( Iorio et al. 2019).

Notes

In France, it lives in wet meadows and along the edges of streams. In Italy, it is reported as a mountain and hygrophilous species. It lives in wet grasslands, in dense vegetation. The adults can be found in summer and autumn ( Massa et al. 2012).
