Diagnosis. Among the species of bicolor -group, it is easily distinguishable by the smooth intervals of elytra. Only third interval of elytra shows setiferous pores ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ). Aedeagus (fig. 13): median lobe of aedeagus moderately broad, ventral surface straight at midlength, apical fourth of lobe slightly downturned, near basal bulb strongly microreticulated.

Distribution. Spain, Portugal, Morocco ( Fig. 12 View FIGURE 12 ).
