Comments. Species described from a single specimen labeled “Fes, Sidi el Bernoussi” (= Sidi Ahmed El Bernoussi, Djebel Zalagh, 5 km NE Fes) as similar to S. soror Rambur, 1837 , but differ in having posterior angles of pronotum right, shorter elytra and intervals of elytra more convex. Body length 3.5 mm. Perhaps this species is only a variation of Singilis soror Rambur, 1837 . The type was supposed to be in MNHN but it was not possible to locate it. To make a final decision about the taxonomic status of this taxon it is necessary to study the type and additional material.
