Etymology. From the combination of Latin words ‘vero’ and ‘nica’ which means ‘well, be the winner’.

Holotype, ”, length of body 4 mm, of fore wing 4.96 mm.

Head ( figures 10 View FIGS , 118 View FIGS ). Remaining antennal segments 51, length of third segment 1.3 times fourth, length of third, fourth and penultimate segments 4.5, 3.5 and 2 times their maximal width; length of ultimate segment three times its maximal width; length of eye in dorsal view twice temple; eye with short setae; temple directly narrowed posteriorly, striate-punctate dorsally, coriaceous elsewhere; OOL: diameter of ocellus: POL~10.0:4.0:5.0; frons smooth medially, shiny, laterally punctate; vertex convex, striate-punctate near stemmaticum, flattened near stemmaticum; face convex, punctate; clypeus short and punctate, convex in lateral view, its ventral border straight; maxillary palp 1.75 times height of head; length of malar space equal to basal width of mandible; occipital flange straight ventrally and rounded posteriorly.

Mesosoma ( figure 30 View FIGS ). Length of mesosoma 1.48 times its maximal height; side of pronotum weakly coriaceous ventrally, medially rugose and remainder smooth; mesopleuron punctate, smooth and shiny; precoxal sulcus complete and punctate; metapleuron weakly coriaceous and sparsely punctate; mesoscutum coarsely punctate; scutellar sulcus rectangular with small carina posteriorly; scutellum convex, sparsely punctate; propodeum medially convex in lateral view, with mediotransverse rugae, coriaceous; mid-longitudinal carina of propodeum present anteriorly ( figure 105 View FIGS ); metapleural flange acute.

Wings. Fore wing: r: SR1z3-SR~4:21; 2-SR: r-m~3.0:2.0; second submarginal cell (sub)sessile; cu-a interstitial; subbasal cell glabrous anteriorly; vein 3-CU1 as long as vein CU1b. Hind wing: 2-M pigmented; membrane largely glabrous basally.

Legs. Hind coxa with rugae dorsally, coriaceous; hind femur coriaceous, its ventral border weakly irregular; lengths of hind femur, tibia and basitarsus 5.5, 9 and 6.3 times their widths, respectively; tibial spurs 0.42 and 0.31 times basitarsus; hind tibia with four apical teeth.

Metasoma. First tergite three times longer than apically wide, flattened in lateral view, coriaceous; spiracles protruding; second tergite weakly coriaceous and shiny; T2 1.3 times longer than T3; second suture smooth, straight; length of ovipositor sheath 0.1 times fore wing length.

Colour. Brownish yellow. Antenna, apical 0.2 of hind tibia, apical 0.2 of hind basitarsus, remainder of hind tarsus blackish; outer stripe of scapus, mid tarsus dark brown; stemmaticum brownish; T1 z T2, propodeum, mesoscutum orange; basal 0.65 of hind basitarsus whitish, hind tibial spurs yellowish and infuscate; fore wing hyaline to slightly infuscate apically.

Variation. Length of body 4–5.5 mm, antenna 2.0 times longer than fore wing, lengths of third, fourth and penultimate segments 3.0–4.0, 2.3–3.5 and 1.5–2.0 times their maximal widths, respectively; length of eye in dorsal view 2.0–2.25 times temple; eyes glabrous or with short setae; maxillary palp 1.0–1.8 times height of head; malar suture absent or weakly present; mesopleuron punctate to smooth with some longitudinal wrinkles near tegulae, precoxal sulcus complete or not reaching anterior margin of mesopleuron, metapleural flange acute to rounded; apical 0.25 of hind tibia, hind basitarsus completely whitish or apical half more or less blackish, hind tibial spurs whitish basally.
