Diagnosis. Teuloma microoblitterans , sp.nov. is externally similar to T. neooblitterans due to the absence of a transverse line, but differs from it by its smaller size and slightly broader forewing. The male genitalia of the new species are also very similar to those of T. neooblitterans but differ by their juxta being broader and having very shallow apical concavity, weaker setae on the twisted lobe of the distal saccular process, and smaller aedeagus with narrower vesica.

Description. Adult (Forewing length 11–13 mm in males). Head with frons and vertex yellow. Antennae bipectinate. Labial palpi porrect, covered fully with yellow hair at base. Thorax with tegula and collar yellowish. Forewing with ground color golden orange, more suffusion towards inner half. Hindwing with cilia golden yellow; underside same. Male genitalia with uncus long, narrow, cylindrical, slightly curved near apex, small terminal spine present; tegumen longer than uncus, v-shaped; vinculum as long as tegumen, saccus u-shaped; juxta small with a shallow groove at apex. Valva with costa slightly convex; a small central window, transverse with an elongated flap; cucullus simple, flap like, tip blunt, containing hairs at apical region; apex of distal saccular process typical of genus. Aedeagus elongated, tubular; vesica membranous with irrorations of small scobination all around.

Female unknown.

Distribution. The new species is found in North-East India (Mizoram).

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived due to smaller size of the new species than T. oblitterans .
