Material: 1♂ holotype, Greece, Andros island , Remmara (37°52’N / 24°50’E), 170 m a.s.l; 17 April 1984, leg. Ma- licky. (in collection RW) GoogleMaps

Description: Head with eyebridge of 3 facet rows; distance between eyes 5 facet diameters; with a row of postocular bristles. Antenna with scape, pedicel and 13 flagellomeres, apical segment missing: absolute length 0.034- 0.054-0.044-0.048-0.040-0.036-0.038-0.036-0.036-0.036-0.036-0.028-0.026-0.022-0.018- mm; relative length 17- 27-22-24-20-18-19-18-18-18- 18-14-13-11 -9-. Flagellomeres 5–10 (not clearly discernable might equally be 11) with a pair of digitiform, curved ascoids in the distal third. Palpus missing.

Wing 3 times longer than wide; length 1.81 mm, width 0.61 mm.

Male terminalia with an equally thin hypandrium. Gonocoxites about 2x longer than their median width, 1 short seta in the distal third, and 1 long and 1 short setae near the inner basis; condyles oval. Gonostyli 1.5 times longer than gonocoxites, almost straight with broad angular tip ( Fig. 50 View FIGURES 50–53 ).

Parameres similar to other species. Ventral bridge not discernable, middle extensions oval with tips converging. Aedeagus with basiphallus narrowing apically, outlines of aedeagus distal of hypandrium rectangular, 3.5 times longer than wide. Basiphallus bilobed, ventral lobe thin with ventral arm connected to the distiphallus; dorsal lobe thin as well but shorter, little sclerotized difficult to identify.

Epandrium rhomboid, epandrial processes short, straight with 4 tenacula, 2 long feathered, 2 smaller ( Fig. 51 View FIGURES 50–53 ). Hypoproct rhomboid, setose.

Distribution: Greece, Andros island (Egean area).

Remarks: a Tonnoiriella species presently difficult to group. No close relations to any of the mentioned groups.
