Distribution: Previously recorded only from West Malaysia. There are unpublished records from Brunei, East Malaysia and Singapore (RAB). New to Taiwan. [4]

New record: Nantou, Neimoupu , ex funnel trap, 30.iv.2005 (C. S. Lin) (1) .

Hosts: Recorded only from two species of Shorea (Dipterocarpaceae) ( Schedl 1958).
