Specimens examined. Specimens deposited in NSMT : one female from type locality, NSMTAp 5, Asakawa , Tokyo , 13-X-1966 , K. Niijima leg; one male , same locality, 28-VI-1971 , G. Imadaté leg. (0176a 3-57 in Imadaté’s Proturan Collection ) . Other specimens recorded . This species are collected from many localities in northern Honshu, hence those records are omitted. Additions to description. On head, setae aa , pa and m4 present, sensilla as and ps present ( Fig. 12A ); seta sp 1.4 times longer than p ; sensilla pp rudimentary. Seta rs inflated, shorter than sr ( Fig. 12B ). On maxillary palpus ( Fig. 12C ) sensillum md longer than ml. On galea ( Fig. 12D ) digit O loner than M and I, M and I similar to each other in shape and length. Mandible with two apical and one subapical teeth ( Fig. 12E ). On hind tarsus D2 and D4 spine-like. Central lobe incised ( Fig. 12F ). Laterostigmata II–IV large, without inner structure; those on VVI small. On abdominal tergite VIII ( Fig. 12G ) P1a' without basal dilatation; P2a linear. Distribution. Japan (Honshu).
