Male ( Figs 69–74 ) Diagnosis. Forewings with pigmented marginal band from R4+5 to areola postica, and pigmented area distally on cell cu1. Central sclerite of hypandrium much larger than the side sclerites, anteriorly straight, with postero-lateral corners sclerotized, projected posteriorly; posterior border with two short projections in the middle, apically blunt, directed outwards, the space between the middle and the lateral projections denticulate, strongly sclerotized. Phallosome complex, Y-shaped anteriorly, external parameres broad, distally quadrate, sclerotized, bearing denticles along the border; three pairs of endophallic sclerites, anterior pair broadly M-shaped, mesal pair fused, Hshaped, with posterior arms curved, acuminate; posterior pair close to the inner border of the external parameres, each half elongate, with a row of four teeth along the inner border ( Fig. 74 ). Color (in 80% ethanol). Body pale brown. Compound eyes brown; ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents. Head pattern ( Fig. 71 ); postclypeus with dark brown V-shaped area; anteclypeus and labrum brown; genae dark brown, pale brown postgena; antennae pale brown; maxillary palps pale brown, Mx4 dark brown, Mx2- Mx3 with apical rings ochre. Thorax brown, tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax with creamy spots. Legs with tibiae and tarsi pale brown, coxae, trochanters and femora cream, coxae with two pale brown ochre spots, basal and apical, femora with three to four brown spots, basal, middle and apical, two median brown spots on hind femora. Forewings ( Fig. 69 ), with hyaline fenestrae between marginal pigmented band and wing margin. Hindwings hyaline ( Fig. 70 ), with small brown spots distally on R2+3, R4+5 and M. Abdomen cream, with pale brown spots on tergites. Hypandrium brown, with dark brown marginal areas; clunium, paraprocts and epiproct pale brown, with brown subcuticular spots. Phallosome dark brown. Hindwings ( Fig. 70 ): l/w: 3.00. Hypandrium symmetric and little sclerotized, side sclerites small, twice as long as wide, setose ( Fig. 73 ). Phallosome ( Fig. 74 ), antero-mesal pair of endophallic sclerites with arms stout. Paraprocts broad, oval ( Fig. 72 ), with setal field on distal third; sensory fields with 26 trichobothria on basal rosettes.
