An introduced Palearctic species, newly recorded on Prince Edward Island ( Fig. 5 ). Widely distributed in the northern and central portions of the USA ( Beal 2003 ); in Canada recorded from British Columbia , Ontario , Québec , New Brunswick , and Nova Scotia (Bousquet 1991).
