It is distributed in North America, Europe, Caucasus, Russia, Central Asia, China, Korea and Japan ( World Spider Catalog 2020 ). It can be found in mainland Italy and Sardinia ( Pantini and Isaia 2019 ). Notes It is a hygrophilous species that lives in low vegetation, meadows and litter. It is a night hunter ( Isaia et al. 2007 ).
