Basic vestiture of yellowish scales moderately dense to sparse; elytron with dark fascia faintly visible, humeral and ante­macular elements obsolete, post­macular element of yellow scales oblique (Fig. 183e). Plant association. Piper obliquum (Prena 6). Distribution. Costa Rica , Pacific side of Cordillera de Talamanca in Río Savegre valley (Fig. 247). Subspecific epithet. A Latin adjective referring to Dota and modified by suffix.
