Head pale, pronotum pale with anterior margin red, meso- and metanotum pale with red line posteromedially, abdominal segments I–VIII pale with red internal pigment, IX–X dark brown (black in alive individuals; brown in washed specimens) (

). Antennal segment III with setae much shorter than the length of the segment (
Fig. 10
). Dorsal setae with apex expanded. Head setae D3 expanded; setae D1 inserted anteriorly to setae D4 (
Fig. 17
). Pronotum with sclerotized blotches (pale in washed specimens). Abdominal tergite II with a pair of spiracles; segments IX–X completely sclerotized; segment X with six anal setae shorter than the segment length (

). Spiracles with facets with one to four pores (

). Larvae II have been studied from
Brazil
from the states of
São Paulo
,
Acre
and
Piauí
from plants such as
Impatiens balsamina
,
Mentha
sp.
and grasses (CHNUFPI).
