Antennal segment III with setae shorter than the length of the segment. Dorsal setae with apex expanded. Head setae, D1, D2 and D4 with expanded apex; D3 with scarcely expanded apex. Pronotum with sclerotized blotches (pale in washed specimens). Abdominal tergite II with a pair of spiracles; segments IX–X completely sclerotized; posterior margin of segment IX with minute and scarce teeth laterally; segment X with six anal setae longer than the segment length ( Fig. 37 ). Spiracles with facets with two to three pores. Larvae II have been studied from the Tucumán province ( Argentina ) from leaves of Bidens pilosa and Trifolium repens (UNJu).
