Diagnoses of larvae of most species of Oxyethira have not been published. Material studied. ALGERIA , Blida , Hammam Melouane , Badour Wadi (S8) ( 36°28’43”N , 3°04’07”E ), 410 m a.s.l. : 22.iv.2011 , 1 larva ; 22.iii.2013 , 1 larva ( CSK04 ) . Comment. The genus is currently represented in Algeria by two species: Oxyethira unidentata McLachlan 1884 and Oxyethira falcata Morton 1893 . The specimens were collected in a single moderately flowing site (S8) ( Fig. 2 ). The species of the larvae cannot be identified; therefore, rearing or molecular sequencing should be performed to identify the species.
