5. Nazeris fulongensis View in CoL sp. nov.

( Figs. 1E View FIGURE 1 , 2E View FIGURE 2 , 7 View FIGURE 7 )

Type locality: China, Guangxi Province, Northwest of Fangchenggang City, Fulong town .

Type material. Holotype male, CHINA: Guangxi Province: Northwest of Fangchenggang City, Fulong town , 660 m, 21.IV.1998, coll. Haisheng Zhou ( IZ-CAS) . Paratypes: CHINA: Guangxi Province: 1 male, 1 female, same data as holotype ( IZ-CAS) .

Measurements. BL: 5.3–5.7 mm; FL: 2.9–3.3 mm. HL: 0.97 mm; HW: 0.91 mm; PL: 0.97 mm; PW: 0.83 mm; EL: 0.80 mm; EW: 0.85 mm; ELL: 0.25 mm; POL: 0.45 mm.

Description. Body ( Fig. 1E View FIGURE 1 ) elongate, reddish brown; legs and antennae yellowish brown.

Head ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 , 7A View FIGURE 7 ) moderately oblong, 1.07 times as long as wide; punctation of head very dense, moderately coarse, umbilicate punctures distinct and partly confluent on vertex, intervals between punctures smaller than diameters of punctures; umbilicate punctures present vaguely and sparsely on posterior margin of head; interstices without microsculpture; eyes small and slightly protruding, postocular portion approximately 1.80 times as long as eye length.

Pronotum ( Fig. 7A View FIGURE 7 ) oval, elongated, without distinct anterior and posterior angles, with anterior half slightly wider, 1.17 times as long as wide, slightly narrower than head, approximately as long and 0.91 times as broad as head; punctation not umbilicate, as dense and as coarse as that of head; longitudinal midline posteriorly with very short and narrowly impunctate elevation; interstices without microsculpture. Dense punctured depression near posterior middle margin.

Elytra ( Fig. 7A View FIGURE 7 ) 0.94 times as long as wide, elytra length shorter and weakly wider than pronotum, 0.82 times as long and 1.02 times as broad as pronotum; lateral sides expanded posteriorly with widest at posterior 1/3; hind wings reduced; punctation similar to that of pronotum; interstices without microsculpture.

Abdomen with punctation dense and coarse on tergites III–IV, dense and less coarse on tergites V–VI, sparse and fine on tergites VII–VIII; interstices without microsculpture.

Male. Sternite VII ( Fig. 7B View FIGURE 7 ) with posterior margin nearly truncate in the middle. Sternite VIII ( Fig. 7C View FIGURE 7 ) with triangular posterior excision. Aedeagus ( Figs. 7 View FIGURE 7 D–7F) moderately sclerotized; ventral process short, with pair of triangular basal laminae dorsally; dorsal parts slightly widened near middle and apex in dorsal view; dorso-lateral apophyses slightly widened near middle in ventral view, extending beyond apex of ventral process.

Distribution and habitat data. The species is known only from Fulong Town in southern Guangxi Province. The specimen was collected by sifting leaf litter at an altitude of 660 m.

Comparative notes. The new species is similar in habitus and aedeagal characters to Nazeris yuyimingi Hu & Qiao (Hu & Li 2019: 436, Figs. 25–29), but the Nazeris fulongensis sp. nov. can be distinguished by the male sternite VII ( Fig. 7B View FIGURE 7 ) lacking emargination in posterior margin at middle, while N. yuyimingi with shallowly concave in the middle, by the shallower posterior excision of male sternite VIII ( Fig. 7C View FIGURE 7 ), and by the shorter ventral process and the narrower apex of dorso-lateral apophyses of aedeagus ( Fig. 7D View FIGURE 7 ).

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Chinese name (Pinyin) of the type locality, Fulong, Guangxi Province.
