Specimens examined. Entre Ríos: Concordia – Salto Grande (31°15'51''S, 57°58'9.3''W), 4-V-2007, on Brugmansia arborea (3Ψ, 1ɗ). Previous records. Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Galapagos, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru ( Guanilo et al. 2008), Puerto Rico, USA and Venezuela.

Remarks. The females collected in this study are larger than those reported elsewhere, including the holotype, being more similar to those from Colombia ( Moraes & Mesa 1988) and Mexico ( Moraes et al. 1991). Similarly to females from Mexico, those collected in this study have a single tooth on the movable cheliceral digit, instead of 2 reported for specimens from Brazil and Colombia. Yet, in relation to the position of the preanal pores, the females collected resemble the Brazilian and Colombian specimens (posterior and in longitudinal line with seta JV2), differing from the Mexican specimens (posteromesad to JV2).
