Hemyda hertingi Ziegler & Shima, 1996: 462 View in CoL . Holotype ♂ (DEI). Type locality: Russia, Primorskiy Kray, Ussuriysky Zapovednik, 33km southeast of Ussuriysk.

Diagnosis. Male ( Figs. 25−29 View FIGURES 25 − 29 , 69−72 View FIGURES 69 − 72 ) and female ( Figs. 30−36 View FIGURES 30 − 36 ). Body length: 8.0−10.0 mm. Eye kidney-shaped, hind margin slightly indented; vertex 0.25−0.30 of head width in male and 0.30−0.35 in female; fronto-orbital plate and upper 4/5 of parafacial covered with golden-yellow pruinosity in male and silver-white pruinosity in female; ocellar triangle occupying posterior 1/2−3/5 of frontal vitta; vibrissa 0.50−0.60 times as long as eye height; inner vertical seta strong, 0.40−0.50 times as long as eye height; arista thickened on approximately basal 2/5, second aristomere about two times as long as wide; palpus black or dark brown, thickened and lighter apically; 1−2 presutural and 1−2 postsutural acrostichal setae; legs black or dark brown; mid tibia with 1 ventral seta; syntergite 1+2 and tergite 3 yellow with a longitudinal black median vitta, tergites 4 and 5 entirely black; syntergite 1+2 with 2−4 lateral marginal setae, tergite 3 with 2−4 median marginal setae. Male terminalia ( Figs. 69−72 View FIGURES 69 − 72 ): Sternite 5 with a V-shaped posteromedian cleft, without a membranous area between anterior margin and cleft, and with fine setulae; epandrium broad in caudal view, with fine setulae; cerci slender in caudal view, with fine short setulae on inner lateral margin, deeply separated along most of their length, but fused apically; surstylus long and greatly expanded posteriorly in lateral view, with fine short setulae, pointed apically; hypandrium broad in lateral view, hypandrial arm long and sclerotized; pregonite and postgonite fused, long and broad in lateral view, with several short fine setulae on median lateral margin, elongate anteriorly; ejaculatory apodeme short. Female terminalia ( Figs. 35−36 View FIGURES 30 − 36 ): Apex of the finger-like protrusion on tergite 6 forked.
