Alborz ( Kheradmand et al. 2002, 2005), Ardabil ( Modarres Awal 1987, 1996a; Linnavuori 2007), East Azarbaijan ( Baroughi 1978; Modarres Awal 1997a), Fars ( Wagner 1968), Guilan ( Seidenstücker 1957; Linnavuori 2007), Mazandaran, Zanjan ( Linnavuori 2007), Khorasan ( Modarres Awal 1996b, 2008), Tehran (Hoberlandt 1954; Linnavuori 2007), West Azarbaijan (Gharaat et al. 2009), Northern Iran (no locality cited) ( Lindberg 1938).

General distribution. Euromediterranean-Turanian (in North Africa only in Tunisia).
