Distribution. Europe, Caucasus, Asia Minor, Levant, North Africa ( Colonnelli 2013).
Material examined. Poltava Prov.: 1 spec. ( ZIN) Poltava, D. Ogloblin leg., 3.vii.1912 .
Biology. Oak forests. Adults occur in IV–VIII ( Dieckmann 1972b). On Fagaceae : Quercus ilex , Q. suber ( Hoffmann 1954) ; Q. pubescens ( Hoffmann 1954; Dieckmann 1972b); Q. petraea , Q. robur ( Hoffmann 1954; Dieckmann 1972b; Smreczyński 1974).
