Distribution. West Palaearctic (excluding north) ( Meregalli & Fremuth 2013).

Material examined. 38 specimens ( ZIN, SIZK, KUMN, ZMUK, ZMUM, NSPU, IMC, SKC, YKC) from 5 provinces were studied. Kherson Prov. : 1 spec. ( SIZK) Novotroitsk Distr., Vasylivka, Churyuk Island, Yu. V. Karmyshev leg., 6.ix.1982 ; 1 spec. ( IMC) Kherson, I. Maltsev leg., 17.vii.1960 ; 1 spec. ( IMC) Bilozerka, Rafalski leg.; Zaporizhia Prov. : 1 spec. ( YKC) Melitopol, forest park, Yu. V. Karmyshev leg., 23.iv.2010; Zhytomyr Prov. : 1 spec. ( SIZK) Zhytomyr, G. Proschiga leg., 12.vi.1920 .

Biology. Xerotermic habitats with sparse grass vegetation. Adults occur in III–X. On Erodium cicutarium (Geraniaceae) . ( Stejskal et al. 2014; Horvath et al. 2014).
