Included species: Rhynchelmis limosella Hoffmeister ; R. brachycephala Michaelsen ; R. granuensis Hrabĕ, 1954 ; R. komareki Hrabĕ, 1927 ; R. tetratheca Michaelsen, 1921 ; R. vagensis Hrabĕ, 1961 ; R. vejdovskyi Hrabĕ & Černosvitov, 1926 .

Apomorphies: Longitudinal muscles with lateral margins curled; strong dorsolateral-transverse muscles; vasa deferentia with thickened, glandular epithelium; spermathecal ampullae with anterior diverticulum; accessory organ in preatrial segment (absent in some species).
