New collection records (7 specimens): South Africa: Free State Province: 5 mi. W. Caledon, 30 ° 11 ' S, 26 ° 6 ' E, 11 iii 1968, P. J. Spangler (4 USNM); Western Cape Province: Drying pond in river at Graafwater, 32 ° 9 ' S, 18 ° 36 ' E, 28 ii 1997, G. L. Challet (3 NMW).

Distribution. A rather widely, but sparsely distributed species ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 17 – 18 ). Currently not yet known from the eastern 1 / 3 of southern Africa.
