New collection records (7 specimens): South Africa: Free State Province: 5 mi. W. Caledon, 30° 11' S, 26° 6' E, 11 iii 1968, P. J. Spangler (4 USNM); Western Cape Province: Drying pond in river at Graafwater, 32° 9' S, 18° 36' E, 28 ii 1997, G. L. Challet (3 NMW).

Distribution. A rather widely, but sparsely distributed species ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 17 – 18 ). Currently not yet known from the eastern 1/3 of southern Africa.
