Material examined. ETHIOPIA: SNNPR, Bench Maji, Bebeka plantation (1370 m), 14.IV.2015, R.P.W.H. Felix (1♀, RFPC) ; Bench Maji , Dembi Forest (1260 m), 14.IV.2015, R.P.W.H. Felix (2Ƌ, 2♀, RFPC) .

Distribution. It’s a widespread species in Africa and mentioned for Ethiopia by Dirsh (1966), Jago (1977) and Schmidt and Johnsen (1999).

Remarks. Identification occurred following the key to African species in Dirsh (1966). This species is characterized by a relatively long appendix of the male cercus, which is not widened at the apex, and a slightly raised median carina of pronotum.
