Morphological notes. Clitellum extends on segments 26, 27–34, 35, saddle shaped, tubercles on 31–33, ribbon-shaped, length 65–130mm, brownish colour, 100–120 segments, diameter 2–3 mm, setae closely paired, male pore on 15 and head epilobous.

Remarks. Ap. caliginosa represents a species complex with different morphs and subspecies (Csuzdi & Zicsi, 2003). Our specimens resemble the trapezoides morph by their darker colour and ribbon-shaped tubercles.
