Atlantic Ocean:

• 41°37′N, 71°19′W; 0 m bsl: [FAO21] USA, Rhode Island State, Newport County, Newport, upper barnacle zone and tubular forms of green algae (Ulya). Faurby et al. (2012)

• 41 ° 33′N, 71° 26′W; 0 m bsl: [FAO21] Type locality: USA, Rhode Island State, Washington County, low tidal levels in a brackish water bay near Hamilton, under Salicornia sp., sediment. Hallas & Kristensen (1982)

Remarks: This species has recently been re-found near the type locality on the coast of Rhode Island.
