Colour. The colour in life is a typical orangish-brown on the carapace and ambulatory legs ( Fig. 24H View Fig ) (see also Ahyong et al., 2009: fig. 82).

Remarks. The taxonomy of this widely distributed Indo- West Pacific species has been discussed at length by Guinot & Richer de Forges (1995).
