Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5

Diagnosis. Female. Head wider than long with vertex crest straight. Frons and vertex with dense punctures. Median clypeal carina exceeding anterior imaginary line of eyes. Dorsal pronotal area weakly papillate. Lateral margin of dorsal pronotal area not carinate. Mesopleural dentate process absent. Metapostnotal median and lateral carina absent. First median cell of forewing drop-shaped. Body with dense white setae.

Description. Holotype ( Fig. 5a View FIGURE 5 ). Female. Body length: 4.61 mm. Forewing length: 3.34 mm.

Color. Head black; mandible yellow; antenna yellow, darken distad. Mesosoma black, posterior margin of pronotum lighter; legs yellow, coxae and femora dark castaneous; tegula castaneous. Metasoma black with posterior margin of each segment lighter. Forewing hyaline tinged with light castaneous; veins and prestigma light castaneous, pterostigma castaneous.

Pubescence. Body with dense white setae. Antenna with dense appressed white setae. Forewing with short dense yellowish setae.

Head ( Figs 5b, 5c, 5d View FIGURE 5 ). Head as long as wide. Mandible with four teeth; lower three with apex sharp; upper one with apex rounded. Median clypeal lobe almost right-angled; median clypeal carina straight, exceeding anterior imaginary line of eyes. Antennomeres II–VI in ratio of 109:137:129:124:119 and 1.63, 1.96, 1.57, 1.36, 1.38 × wide respectively; antennal scrobal carina absent. Frons coriaceous with dense large punctures separate less than its diameter. WF 1.38 × LE. LE 1.75 × DEV. Distance of anterior ocellus to supra-ocular line 0.38 × DAO; POL 0.93 × AOL; OOL 1.75 × WOT; DPV 0.39 × DAO. Vertex coriaceous with dense large punctures separate less than its diameter; vertex crest almost straight. Occipital carina absent. Sides of head behind eyes converging posteriorly. Malar line between mandible and eye present. Gena shiny; ventral area of gena coriaceous with punctures separate less than 2.0 × its diameter.

Mesosoma ( Figs 5e, 5f, 5g View FIGURE 5 ). Dorsal pronotal area coriaceous and weakly papillate, half as long as wide; lateral margin not carinate, posterior margin outcurved medially; cervical pronotal area coriaceous, weakly papillate; pronotal flange invisible in dorsal view; lateral pronotal area coriaceous. Mesoscutum coriaceous with punctures separate less than 1.50 × its diameter, weakly coriaceous near anterior margin; parapsidal furrow complete, weaker anteriorly. Mesoscutellum coriaceous with punctures separate 0.5–4.0 × its diameter; mesoscutellar pit oval, mesoscutellar groove weak, dividing into two parts by median carina. Metapectal-propodeal disc wider than long; metapostnotum coriaceous with oblique rugulae, shiny posteriorly; basal triangular elevated area of metapostnotum present; metapostnotal median carina complete, metapostnotal lateral carina absent; dorsal propodeal area imbricate, depressing near lateral marginal carina, lateral marginal carina of metapectal-propodeal complex complete, transverse posterior carina of metapectal-propodeal complex present, slightly incurved medially; propodeal declivity coriaceous; anterior metapleural area weakly coriaceous, metapleural line with two pits; lateral surface of metapectal-propodeal complex coriaceous, upper one fourth with irregular rugulae. Propleuron coriaceous, papillate ventrally. Lateral surface of mesopectus coriaceous with dense large punctures; mesopleural dentate process absent, upper mesopleural fovea and mesopleural pit developed; posterolateral area weakly coriaceous; ventral surface of mesopectus coriaceous, densely papillate, mesodiscrimen narrow.

Forewing ( Fig. 5h View FIGURE 5 ). First median cell drop-shaped; Rs 2 v 1.18 × M 2 v; 2r-rs&Rs 2 v arched apically.

Metasoma. Abdominal terga shiny with sparse tiny punctures; longitudinal sulcus of second abdominal tergum extending to half of second abdominal tergum and fovea-like basally. Abdominal sterna shiny with shallow sparse punctures; second abdominal sternum coriaceous, median longitudinal carina present.

MALE unknown.

Type material. Holotype ♀ ( ZJUH), China, Xizang, Nyingchi, Chayu Country, Cibagou , 1680m, 28˚40ˊ3˝N, 97˚28ˊ24˝E, 12.viii.2019, Pu Tang, No. 201900309.

Distribution. China (Xizang).

Etymology. The specific name “ hirtus ” (hairy) refers to body with dense white setae.

Comments. This new species is similar to O. formosicola Terayama, 1997 by frons and vertex with dense punctures; dorsal pronotal area weakly papillate; lateral pronotal margin not carinate. However, this species can be distinguished by having body with dense white setae and metapostnotal lateral carina absent, whereas O. formosicola having body not covered with dense setae and metapostnotal lateral carina present.
