Scopula caesaria View in CoL WALKEROS Wiltshire, 1980 [1981]
Holotype, male, pinned: also paratypes 23, 1Ƥ, pinned.
Specimen data: Holotype: “ OMAN | Muaskar al Murtafa’a, | Muscat iv–v.1977 | F.J.Walker. | RSM 1978.014” [Printed] on verso “778” [Handwritten]. “ Type ” [Round label, red bordered]. “ SCOPULA | caesaria (Wlkr) | walkeri [sic] Wilts. | 3 Holotype ”; [Handwritten (by Wiltshire) on carmine paper].
Remarks: In original description of the holotype (Wiltshire 1980 [1981]) the date of collection is erroneously given as “ 2.xii–17.iii.1977 ”; it should be iv.–v.1977. A colour photograph of the holotype is shown in Pl. 12 of the original description. The holotype is labelled “walkeri” as are the paratypes and were returned to the Museum prior to publication. The name was modified to walkeros prior to publication.
