Diagnosis. Venation pale brown; wings with obvious dense brown spots and short stripes, forewing maculation homogeneous along length. Pronotum yellow with two black spots at anterior 1/3 part and two black lateral stripes at posterior 1/3 part ( Figure 3 View FIGURE 3. A – F : C). Spurs extending to apex of the 4th tarsomere in fore- and midleg, and extending to apex of the 3rd tarsomere in hindleg.
Material examined. Holotype, 3, Huaning, Prov. Yunnan. 1800m, 30.VI.1980, Zhang Gegao leg (CAU- N100004).
Remarks. Yang (1986) denominated Epacanthaclisis maculata based on a male monotype, and this monotype losing 4–10 abdominal segments. So the sex characters of male abdomen and female genitalia unknown.
Distribution. China (Yunnan).
