Note:— According to Arts. 60.1 of the ICN, the spelling of the specific epithet, commemorating Karl von Krapf, originally published as “ Krapffii ” is to be corrected in “ krapfii ”. According to Bartolucci et al. (2018b), this unit has never been found in the Italian territory, where only T. krapfii subsp. gaudinii (Moretti) Thell. should occur. However, further studies (including typification of the name) are required .
