Chilean locality: Magallanes: Region XII.
Geographic distribution: Argentinean and Chilean Patagonia.
Chilean reference: Mey (1998).
Other significant reference: Price et al. (2003).
Remarks: At present, Struthiolipeurus chilensis is known only from Chile, although the distribution of its host extends to Argentina.
