Description. Length (including wings): male 3.0mm.

Crown and lower part of face chocolate brown, face dorsad of antennal bases brownish with dark brown tinge; anteclypeus brownish, apex white; lora and gena brown with white marks. Pronotum brown, with dark brown stripes, apical margin yellowish ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 C). Mesoscutum light brown, with basal triangles reddish brown, lateral margin sometimes yellow; scutellum yellowish, white apically ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 B). Forewing hyaline with light brown tinge, broad band along costa except a subapical oval, dark brown ( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 A, B). Mesepimeron brown. Legs brownish, hind leg macrosetae reddish brown.

Male genitalia. Pygofer with height greater than length, dorsal margin with posterior dorsally projected lobe. Appendage of segment X slender, at 1/4th curved posteriorly, hook-like, in posterior view not crossing midline. Subgenital plate slender, with several setae apically ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 A). Connective with lateral arms short, central lobe rounded. Style tooth on ventral margin nearer basal apex than to distal apex, with several shorter setae. Aedeagus with atrial region as long as shaft, subapical region concave, with a triangle on dorsal margin, several teeth medially in lateral view; aedeagal shaft broad in middle, winglike, square basally, lateral margin of aedeagal shaft curved anteriorly, with a tooth medially in ventral view; gonopore slender ( Figs. 3 View FIGURE 3 D, E).

Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the curved aedeagal shaft in ventral view.

Material examined. Holotype: ♂, THAILAND, Surat Thani Khao Sok NP Klong Morg Unit, N8°53.725′ E98°39.025′, 87m, 2008-viii-10-17, coll. Pongphan, Malaise trap ( QSBG).

Remarks. B. curvata can be easily recognized from other species of Busonia by the wing-like lateral expansion of the aedeagal shaft, the lateral margin curved anteriorly and with a median tooth in ventral view.
