Specimens examined. 1♂ 1♀, Pia Oac , Cao Bang Prov., 16.V.2015, Quoc Toan Phan leg. ; 1♂ 1 ♀, same location, 22–24.V.2010, Haruki Karube leg. ; 1♂ 1♀, 11.V.2014, Tu Le, Yen Bai Prov., Tom Kompier leg.

Notes. This is a group 1 species on the basis of its genital ligula with two long flagella ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 C). It is characterized by its thoracic and abdominal color pattern in both sexes and by the acutely pointed cerci with large and deeply bifurcated ventral tooth ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 A–B). Paraprocts slender and straight, blunt–tipped and as long as cerci.
