Local distribution and occurrence: Khor Al-Sabiyah (Al-Shumaima), Ras Al-Sabyiah, Kuwait Bay (Al-Judailiat, Al-Salam beach), Masfat Al-Ahmadi, Boubyan Island, Failaka Island; occasional (19%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, rocks, shells, pebble, Sargassum spp. and other algae, sponges, and tubes of blue coral-worm Spirobranchus sinuspersicus .
