Remarks. Dendrelaphis tristis ranges from eastern Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India to Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and Myanmar (Wallach et al. 2014). Specimen NMW 24383 is catalogued as being collected in Singapore in 1899. Similar to D. striatus , the specimen of D. tristis was mostly likely a trade specimen or the locality data is incorrect.
