Type locality. Vicinities of Belém , state of Pará, Brazil .

Distribution. Known from Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela, mostly in Amazonia ( Plt. 8A View Plate 8 ). In Brazil recorded in Amazonia and Guianan savannas ( Plt. 8A View Plate 8 ) at low elevations ( Plt. 8B View Plate 8 ). Observed in the field in forest ( Mohammed et al., 2014).
