Lectotype (designated here by Nordenstam): [icon] " Jacobaea Africana frutescens foliis Abrotani seu Crithmi " in Volckamer, Fl. Noriberg.: 225, unnumbered plate. 1700.

Current name: Euryops abrotanifolius (L.) View in CoL DC. ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Although Nordenstam (in Opera Bot. 20: 272. 1968) designated 1038.5 (LINN) as lectotype, this collection lacks the Species Plantarum number (i.e “11”), is a post-1753 addition to the collection, and is not original material for the name. The cited Volckamer figure is here designated as lectotype in its place.
