Specimens examined. CHINA: 6 apterous viviparous females, 4 alate viviparous females and 4 nymphs, Yunnan (Kunming City), Jan. 2007, No. Y 8800, on Cinnamomum burmannii View in CoL , coll. C. Q. Lin (ZMCAS).

Distribution. India, Indonesia, and here newly recorded from China (Yunnan).

Host plants. Cinnamomum burmannii , C. iners and C. verum .

Biology. This species lives on the undersurface of older leaves and is covered with waxy secretion ( Ghosh & Raychaudhuri, 1973; Ghosh, 1988). Much honeydew is excreted, causing sooty moulds on the upper surface of leaves ( Noordam, 1991).
