Fernandezina dasilvai Platnick, Grismado & Ramírez, 1999: 10 View in CoL , figs 25–31 (male holotype and female allotype from Enseada das Palmas, Ilha Grande, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, deposited in MNRJ, not examined).

Other material examined. BRAZIL: Rio de Janeiro: 1 male, 1 female and 2 juveniles, same data as holotype ( MACN 9563); 3 females, same data except 25 January 1996, M. Ramírez ( MACN 9564). Description. See Platnick et al. (1999).

Note. We examined the legs I and IV of a female with scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Tarsus I without tenent setae ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 a). Tarsus II–IV with claw tufts of tenent setae, those of tarsus IV composed of about eight setae on each side, arising from an articulate plate ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 b).
