Diagnosis. Glaucocharis omeishani ( Bleszynski, 1965) is similar to G. tripunctata ( Moore, 1888) in the female genitalia, but its ductus bursae has a thumblike protuberance at about middle, and the ductus seminalis arises from anterior one fourth of the ductus bursae; in G. tripunctata , the ductus bursae lacks the protuberance, and the ductus seminalis arises from middle of the ductus bursae. The male genitalia of the two species are different conspicuously: in G. o m e i s h a n i, only one valva bears basal prong arising from costa, which does not exceed apex of valva; while in G. tripunctata , both valvae have basal prongs arising from costa, which exceed the apex of valvae.

Description. Adult forewing length 5.0– 7.5 mm.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 31 View FIGURES 30 – 33 ). Papilla analis ovate, about one third length of apophysis posterioris. Tergite eight slightly shorter than apophysis anterioris. Antrum funnel-shaped, broadly concave in V shape on posterior margin. Ductus bursae with posterior half sclerotized, densely covered with tiny spines, about three times as thick as anterior half, with thumblike protuberance at about middle; anterior half membranous and curved. Ductus seminalis arising from anterior one fourth of ductus bursae. Corpus bursae rounded; signa double and rounded, one placed at posteior part of corpus bursae, another at middle of corpus bursae.

Distribution. China (Fujian, Guizhou, Hubei, Sichuan).

Remarks. The female of this species is described for the first time. Bleszynski (1965) described and figured the male adult and genitalia.
