Iranian records: Fars ( Mohammadi et al. 2012).

Distribution: Lepisiota melas was described from Greece ( EMERY 1915) and recorded from Iran (MOHAM- MADI et al. 2012) and the former Yugoslavia ( AGOSTI & COLLINGWOOD 1987).
