Psenobolus leucacrocera Enderlein, 1912 Female. — Colour: head brown, malar space yellow; scape and pedicel yellow; first 21 to 24 flageromeres white, remaining ones light brown (antenna incomplete); palpi missing. Mesosoma and first metasomal tergite dark brown; remaining terga brown to light brown. Fore and middle legs completely yellow; hind leg coxa brown, trochanters yellow, femur honey at basal half, brown at apical half, tibia and tarsus honey yellow.

Wings slightly dusky, veins yellow, stigma and tegula light brown. Body length, 4.8 mm; ovipositor 3.1 mm. Head: temple 0.5 eye width; face transversally costate, frons striate-rugose vertex transversally striate; temple weakly striate-coriaceous; gena smooth; eyes 1.1 times higher than wide; malar suture absent; malar space 0.35 times eye eight; hypoclypeal depression slightly elliptical; ocell-ocular distance twice diameter of lateral ocellus; occipital carina complete, joining ventrally with hypostomal carina; scape and pedicel smooth; scape 1.3 longer than wide; antenna broken, 24 flageromeres remaining in one antenna, the other one missing, 35 flageromeres according to original description. Mesosoma: length 2 times its maximum height; propleuron and pronotum costate; median and lateral mesonotal lobes coriaceous; notauli scrobiculate and wide; mesopleuron porcate-coriaceous dorsally, coriaceous medially and ventrally; venter of mesosoma slightly rugulose and coriaceous; sternaulus scrobiculate and wide; propodeum entirely rugose, without distinct median carina or areola, with a distinct spine over hind coxa and a spine at apical-lateral corners. Wings: forewings 3.9 times longer than its maximum width; pterostigma 5.3 times longer than wide. Legs: hind coxa costate-rugose. Legs: hind coxa costate-coriaceous. Metasoma: first metasomal tergite longitudinally costate basally and apically, costate-rugose medially, 6.25 times longer than wide (narrowest area); basal sternal plate (acrosternite) about 0.75 times length of tergum; second tergum weakly costate-rugose basally, remaining area smooth; remaining terga smooth; ovipositor 1.24 times as long as metasoma.

Male. Unknown.

Holotype. Brazil: female, “Süd Brasilien ”. MIZ 187254.
