Type locality and specimens. Tertiary Baltic amber forest; Baltic amber from central Europe. The exact locality is unknown but may have been in the vicinity of Kaliningrad.

Dimensions. ♂ Total length 5,03mm.

Type material. Holotype 1 ♂, potentially subadult.

Remarks. This specimen is part of the Carsten Gröhn collection held in the Geological-Paleontological Collection of the Center of Natural History (No. 4312). The fossil is of Eocene (38–54 mya) age and one of only two solifuges currently known from Baltic amber ( Dunlop et al. 2004, Dunlop & Klann, 2009).
