Type species: Parachrysodema rothschildi Théry 1923 (fixed by monotypy).

The type species of this monotypic subgenus has recently been figured and discussed by Hołyński (2009). However only the holotype has been known of this interesting species until this second specimen was captured in October 1981. Therefore I include a brief redescription and illustrations below.
