Description. As generic diagnosis with the following differences.

Coloration: Upper surface of head with several pale brown spots; vertex with distinctive two brown striations, pronotum without distinct spots or very few; scutellum with two small lateral spots at mid length. Male genitalia: ( Figs 19−25 View FIGURES 19 − 26 ) Aedeagus in lateral view distinctive curved, apically with two slightly divergent, pointed tips; connective Y-shaped, the arms not contiguous but definitely separated.

Female genitalia: Female 7th sternite 2 times as broad at base as long medially, posterior margin slightly straight ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 19 − 26 ); first valvula slightly convex; second valvula gradually tapered apically with rather small and serrate tooth on the shaft ( Fig.17 View FIGURES 15 − 18 ); numerous macrosetae on pygofer.

Measurement: male 3.5 mm, female 3.6 mm.

Distribution. Saudi Arabia, Iraq.

Diagnosis. Vertex with two distinctive brown striations; pronotum without distinct spots or very few; scutellum with two small spots laterally; aedeagus in lateral view distinctive curved, apically with two slightly divergent, pointed tips; connective Y-shaped, arms not contiguous but distinctly separated.

Etymology. This species is named in honour of the first author’s best friend Hani M. El-Hendawi.
