Specimens measured. RS, SP (8, 2).

Dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, with lateral striae, 362 (316–395) long and 247 (197–282) wide. Setal lengths: j1 19 (14–23), j3 24 (17–31), j4 12 (10–14), j5 12 (8–14), j6 49 (37–62), J5 6 (6–8), z2 9 (6–11), z4 58 (42– 68), z5 6 (6–8), Z1 139 (121–152), Z4 149 (127–164), Z5 145 (121–158), s4 175 (158–183), S5 21 (14–28), r3 13 (11–17) and R1 13 (11–14). Peritreme extending to level between j3 and z2. Distances between st1–st3 64 (56–73), st2–st2 79 (73–85), st5–st5 93 (90–99). Ventrianal shield 118 (102–138) long, 103 (90–113) wide at level of Jv2 and 98 (82–113) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx trumpet-shaped to funnel-shaped, 22 (20–23) long; atrium nodular. Fixed cheliceral digit 23 (21–24) long, with 6–8 teeth; movable digit 25 (23–25) long, with three teeth. Macrosetae only on leg IV, sharp-tipped; SgeIV 56 (48–71), StiIV 35 (28–37) and StIV 81 (78–87) .

Distribution in Brazil. Paraná ( Araujo et al., 2022a), Rio Grande do Sul ( Furtado et al., 2006; Guedes et al., 2007; Silva et al., 2008; Roggia et al., 2009; Reichert et al., 2014) and São Paulo ( Denmark & Schicha, 1983; Feres et al., 2005; Montes et al., 2011).

Distribution elsewhere. Argentina, Colombia and Peru.

Remarks. Species described from Brazil. The measurements of the specimens examined are similar to those of the original description.
